Just started one I won from Library Thing; Cleft Heart: Chasing Normal by Karl Schonborn.

It's a memoir about growing up in the 50's while dealing with a cleft palate, a heart defect, and being bullied for being "different".

Just finished this, what an amazing story!

Now reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak; historical fiction about a young girl living in Nazi Germany in 1939.

I finished The Book Thief last night, wow, it just blew me away; so beautifully written and such a powerful story; one of the best books I have ever read.

Now I am reading The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl by Timothy Egan.

Finished The Worst Hard Time this morning; highly recommended if you love American History.

Now reading something more light hearted and fun; The Geek with the Cat Tattoo by Theresa Wier; part romance, part mystery, and part of the story is told from the point of view of a cat named Sam. It's the sequel to The Girl with the Cat Tattoo which was a fun cute story also.

This is one of my favorite authors, and this is my favorite book of hers so far.
