I got DS Freeze Dried Ice cream from ThinkGeek for his basket! He's not big on candy, but he would eat ice cream all day if I let him, lol. I don't get him a lot of candy or sweets for his basket but I got him some books and a game
Ds got a spongebob easter basket(its so cute) filled with different goodies. DH is getting a new bright yellow polo shirt that i rolled in tissue paper and put in one of those big plastic eggs. I also got my nephews each something small.
Sometimes i pretend to be normal but it gets boring so i go back to being me
I always go to my sister's for Easter, and with her 5 kids and my 3, we've got 8 baskets to prepare! So we each buy 8 of everything-- with a few child-specific gifts to round it out-- and on Easter eve we make cocktails and have so much fun filling all 8 baskets together-- even though we don't always know what the other got beforehand-- the baskets always wind up overflowing!
My oldest is 11 now so I know these times are fleeting and truly treasure them...!
Rocks and coal here.........staying home for Easter...Hate driving 2 hours one way for a HAM dinner and then visit an hour and have to turn around and do it again. No kids and not a godparent so no need to do anything. I'll throw a prime rib roll on and have a awesome meal here and then possibly go to buddys for the traditional Easter afternoon clay pigeon shoot. Get about 100 practice shots in.
