Won locally
Saturday the family went to a local Book Festival and on the way out, my daughter and I stopped at a local magazine's booth (Country Roads) and signed up for their giveaway.
I got the email today that I won $100 in gift cards (four $25 cards) to Tsunami, an upscale sushi restaurant downtown on the top floor of an arts building looking out over the Mississippi. Here is their website. I had to check because I like sushi ok, but would rather something else, and they do have some nice steaks.

Beanie, hon. . .sorry your win wound up being a bust! Maybe it just means bigger things are in store in the future (at least you don't have to pay taxes on that handbag!)
