Vote for the freakiest fish in Oceana's 3rd-annual Freaky Fish contest, and if the one you pick wins, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a pair of free IMAX® tickets to see Deep Sea 3D, or any other film at your local IMAX theatre! But wait - there's more!

One lucky voter will also win a copy of Claire Nouvian's fabulous book "The Deep," chock-full of amazing pictures of all these spectacular animals. We had a ton of fun learning about these weird sea creatures, and we hope you do too. Now get your freak on, and go vote!

I voted, got sidetracked!! I think I voted for the Gulper Eel (Saccopharynx sp.)
This aptly-named creature has ferociously oversized jaws and is python-like in its ability to expand its stomach to accommodate the size of its prey. This one is – gulp! – undeniably freaky.
