Wish I were going with ya, Nan. . .a kayak and the big open sky would do me a world of good about now. . .I hope you are able to restoreth your soul!! Have a wunnerful time and share with us when you get back!!
My own personal yay is that I heard from my son who hasn't (for some totally unknown reason!) neglected to contact me for over 6 months! Of course, he's the one who had some trouble with the law 'cause a "friend" planted his weed in my son's car. . .at least that's the story I got. He was transferred from the office to a rig offshore Louisiana and I guess communications are difficult. At least he called to wish me a happy birthday. His dad has been quite ill and they thought routing out his dad's carotid artery would help him a lot. . .it did help some, but there was an "almost coronary" following, so I know he, too, has been under a lotta stress. The YAY continues in that 2 of my 3 boys have specifically asked me to move back to Houston. It's looking more attractive by the day. . .if only I were old enuf to retire, it would look even better! (Mebbe NOT being old enuf to retire should be a "YAY" as well, eh?)
