Question Toxin Cleansing Question

I went on a cruise a couple months ago and won a free metabolism test, when doing the test it was really neat. They stuck these probes on me and then it told how much I weighed (I didn't stand on anything so these probes figured it out), how much fat, muscle, water . . . . was in my system. After it was done she told me that I had high toxin levels in my body and then she explained that the toxins first gather in your colon . . . . and eventually will attach to fat cells. She then told me that if I wanted to lose weight I should do a toxic cleanse of my body. I figured she was just trying to make a buck and just wanted to know if anyone else had ever heard of anything like this before. According to this lady, if people washed themselves of toxins on a regular basis - every few years - it would make it so that they would be healthier and could even ward of cancers and obesity. We have a local pharmacist that sells organic compounds as well and I have been considering asking him about this toxic cleanse thingy, but I didn't want to sound like a complete idiot. Any one else ever hear of such a thing?

I don't know enough on the topic to answer all of your questions but I can say that a healthy colon is essential to good health. I have read that a normal colon weighs on average 4 pounds but that both John Wayne's and Elvis Presley's colon weighed between 40 and 45 pounds at the time of death..

Do some research on the internet and get back to us here with what you find ..
