Iowa, Virginia Govs: Obama Offered No Vision for Second Term in Debate

After Obama’s lackluster first debate against Romney, even progressive journalists said it was not not just good enough for Obama to attempt to tear down Romney. Those like NBC’s David Gregory and Chuck Todd said Obama now needed to present a clear vision for what his second term would be.

Evangelicals, Catholics Organizing For Romney In Colorado, Iowa

The mainstream media has speculated that the religious right may not be enthusiastic about Mitt Romney’s candidacy, but Evangelicals and Catholics in swing states like Colorado and Iowa are enthused because of social and -- more importantly in 2012 -- economic issues, and these voters may help tip these states toward Romney.

Romney Outspending Obama On Airwaves In Key Battleground States

Looking to increase his momentum in the battleground states, Mitt Romney is spending an estimated $13.6 million on commercials in nine crucial swing states this week, proving his campaign is different from John McCain's in 2008, which could not compete with Obama down the stretch on the airwaves in battleground states.

Obama's Brutal Gaffe: Low Gas Prices Cratered Our Economy

Last night, President Barack Obama dropped the biggest campaign gaffe of the season – only the media wasn’t watching. It happened during his testy exchange with Mitt Romney over gas prices.

Fact Check: 'Act of Terror' Not Same as 'Terrorism'

Obama did use those words, but he certainly did not call Benghazi terrorism in the first two weeks after the attack. What Romney should have pointed out last night is that "act of terror" does not equal terrorism under this administration. In fact, if you go back to Obama's 9/12 rose garden speech, you find that he was blaming the video for the "senseless violence" in Benghazi.

No Need to Prove Residency to Vote in Battleground Wisconsin

Despite election irregularities witnessed and reported during the Wisconsin recall election earlier this year, there is no need to prove residency in the state if one wants to register vote in this November’s contentious election.

Romney Surges in Wisconsin, Tied with Obama

The last Marquette University poll of Wisconsin was conducted the last week of September, prior to the first presidential debate. It found Obama with a comfortable 11-point lead among likely voters, 53-42. Among the broader universe of registered voters, Obama enjoyed a 14-point lead over Romney, 54-40. He had leads on job approval, favorability, and better handling of most issues. What a difference a debate makes.
