I have always done our taxes online and have never had a problem with TurboTax; however, I believe they charge a fee now but not 100% sure about that. This year I used TaxAct.com. Federal filing is free for anyone, but they charge a small fee for state filing. I was very pleased with this site.

This one claims to be Free, but there are some exclusions, and they charge for some support...

I have used Tax Act for several years and I've been very pleased. I file a Schedule C for my business and it works like a charm.

My husband, a retired executive, uses Turbo Tax every year for our taxes- It walks you through every step but it is not free

I use turbotax this year and it's free (for basic tax returns only). I really like their website, nice and easy to use.

Good luck!

I've used Tax Act for the last few years and I have been very pleased with the program. I use it to file my personal and business taxes. The fed, is free and the state is very reasonable.
