Penny Auctions

Has anyone had any experience with the online Penny Auction sites? My daughter tried one yesterday, and got a Norstrom's gift card for a crazy price. She said they had designer bags, and high-end gift cards.

I've seen other sites that feature more electronics (like I like), but i'm skeptical to enter something like that without a good recommendation.

If anyone has any experience one way or the other, I'd love to hear about it.
