I'm so glad I've been taking her to training classes! I was able to get her to drop it and walk away by saying, "LEAVE IT!" and "OFF!". I brought Moxie inside and kept an eye on the bird for a few hours. The mama didn't come for it and it obviously could not fly. I ended up bringing it in and going to Petco for baby bird food and a little nest for it to sit in. I'm hoping it will be ready to fly in a week or so.
