We just got back from a trip to northern California. We spent about 20 hours driving with kids ages 12, 10 and 8.

To help pass the time, I made up a game to play while driving. Whenever we spotted a store, someone would shout out the store's name and someone else had to say the store's slogan.

For instance, if I said "Home Depot", someone in the car said "You can do it, we can help". When someone shouted out the name of a business that was not well known or no one could remember a slogan, we had to make one up. We got some pretty creative answers from the kids! Like, "The Greasy Spoon - Don't ask, just eat".  lol

The best one by far, though, was when someone spotted a Motel 6 and my 10-yr-old daughter shouted out, "Where Best Friends are Made". Apparently, she got the Build-a-Bear Workshop slogan mixed up with the Motel 6 slogan.  ;)
Have a great day,
