I took my kids on a bike ride and hike yesterday afternoon. Things were going great until my 7-yr-old son, who was riding behind me and in front of my 9-yr-old daughter, took a spill. Unfortunately, my daughter didn't have time to stop. She ran right over the poor little guy with her front tire. I don't know who was crying more, my son, who was more shook up than hurt, or my daughter, who felt bad for adding to her brother's bad situation. After a few minutes, they were both able to shake it off and we had a picnic on top of a hill.
Doing laundry today, I noticed there was a tire track across the back of my son's shirt. I think I'm going to start calling him "speed bump". ;)
