Meatballs come in handy when you need something quick for dinner. However, I tend to get burned out on spaghetti. Instead of serving meatballs with marinara all the time, I get creative with the sauces I pair them up with. This chili sauce is so tasty, you could almost eat it all by itself!
2 Bottles of Chili Sauce
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup of thinly sliced sweet onions
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes with meatballs. (Prepare your own meatballs or use your favorite frozen brand and cook according to instructions on the package.) This recipe also works great in the slow cooker!
